Have a question about Redskins football that you’ve always wanted answered?
Do you want to be on “The Mike Shanahan Coach’s Show?”
For many of you, I think the answer to both of these questions is, “Are you crazy? Of course!”
It’s now easier than ever to get a chance to have Shanahan himself answer your questions.
Simply email a video of yourself asking Coach Shanahan a question and he will answer it live on his show, which you can see at 7:30 p.m. each Saturday on NBC-4.

Coach, with our situation at right tackle looking Grimm , how do you as a coach evaluate which free agent would be a great fit for our offense and are you planning on bringing someone in soon? Thanks for hearing my questions

What Back up players supporting injured players are you most proud of? That part of the team hasn’t been the strongest in the past so what did you put in place to improve that team building area?

Why Chris Cooley ? I don’t understand that he is the greatest of what he did. If your quarterback would get hurt would you let him go. Unfear. Bad choose you did. Love the redskin but your chosse was so wrong. Why Chris Cooley?

I got a question! I been a Redskin fan since birth. And where one of the best franchise in sports entertainment. And for the last damn 20 years I love them but it hurts me when we constantly losing. I like Rg3 and all but It just seem like we always in a De Ja Vu moment. Meaning things keeps happening for us to keep losing. Like the 2 loses to the bum CowBi***hes! Which I think was a coaches loss both times. Now in 20 years I think we have the best all around team since the Hogs and Fun Bunch. Do you think you deserve this job if we have another losing season? Cause really the best thing you did in 2 years was to get Rg3 thats it! We loyal Redskins fans wanna win NOW! Gibbs did it in 2 years. It’s not un-do-able!!!!

What is the attraction of drafting players from SMU, a team which hasn’t done well in their division for years?

I am a born and raised Washington Redskin. I live in Florida now and support the Skins. Why was Chrus Cooley cut. It seems really unfair. Why not Rex Grissman??
Thanks

Coach,
How can you justify releasing Chris Cooley and keeping Reed Doughty? Cooley is a leader on and off the field and Doughty doesn’t seem to be able to handle deep coverage.

What was going through everyones head when Hightower was cut. What now because there are all of the draftees, everyone is thinking that the team will be better? Sorry, but it is wrong. Hightower is one of the best that Washington has had in a long time. I have been a die-hard fan my whole life, and this makes me upset. If I was watching right of the two games that he didn’t play in one was lost and the other won by one point. Somebody made a huge mistake, instead of using 10% of your brain power, try using all 100%.

Why do you decide to release Cooley who was a team captain and team player and keep players like Davis and Tanard who have shown themselves to be drug addicts and have been suspended?

Why with the most loyal fans in the football world does money always have to be the most important thing. Sometimes you just need to do the right thing and letting Cooley go, who by the way happens to be an outstanding player, it’s not like like he was a slouch or anything, was not the right thing to do. WHY did you let him go and can you redeem yourself by doing the right thing and bring him back

Its real simple this league is about younger, bigger, faster and simple put Fred represent that over Cooley. I would also love for us too have kept Cooley but if at best he was only going to be used as a blocking TE that is simply not his best trait. As a copycat league everyone is looking for the next athletic TE like the patriots and the Shanny think they have created a robin to Fred’s batman in Niles Paul. I actually hope 47 gets an opportunity but would not like for him to come resign with us for a small role. He is better then that and hope we are as well as a organization.

Coach why cut Grahm gano and sign Billy Cundiff? Gano is a good YOUNG kicker. If you want to cut anyone cut whoever let the defense through that blocked his kicks.
And why cut Cooley and keep Paul? Cooley would have done anything to stay a Redskin. Paul well he couldn’t catch a cold!!!
