Robert Griffin III appears to have it all.
Great personality, great athlete, great heart.
He also apparently has one heck of a fashion sense.
Griffin III, the Redskins rookie quarterback, was recently named one of Esquire magazine’s 15 Best-Dressed Players In The NFL.
Here’s what Esquire had to say about the selection:
“Because the bright socks he often wears are just a small piece, albeit a loud one, of a wardrobe that’s executed well enough for us to (perhaps prematurely) deem RGIII style rookie of the year. “
That’s pretty high praise right there. I mean, they know what they’re talking about when it comes to fashion.
I, meanwhile, get yelled at daily for wearing brown belts with black pants. So go figure.
Also on the list from the NFC East are the New York Giants’ Victor Cruz and Eli Manning, the Philadelphia Eagles’ Nnamadi Asomugha and last but least, the Dallas Cowboys’ Demarco Murray.
Griffin III is just the most recent Redskins athlete to be honored by a magazine in the past couple weeks. Maxim recently named linebacker London Fletcher, punter Sav Rocca and the Redskins Hogettes to the NFL’s “Most Bad@$$” list.
