Catch ‘The Mike Shanahan Coach’s Show’

The weekly look into everything Redskins with head coach Mike Shanahan is back — and will be airing at a special time Saturday.

Taping got underway today for the first episode of “The Mike Shanahan Coach’s Show,” which will air Saturday at 10:30 a.m. (EST) on NBC-4.

The show will air for the rest of the season on Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.

It was interesting getting a behind-the-scenes look at the taping (see photo above), which happened just minutes after the Clinton Portis retirement ceremony at Redskins Park.

The “Mike Shanahan Coach’s Show,” of course, features Shanahan and is hosted by Larry Michael, the voice of the Redskins, and Redskins’ great defensive end Charles Mann.

I’ll definitely be watching to see what Shanahan has to say about the progression of rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III. Saturday’s initial show of the 2012 season will be airing prior to the Redskins’ 4 p.m. matchup with the Indianapolis Colts and their first-round draft pick quarterback, Andrew Luck.

    I would like to see more bless from every position on D do a jail house on them every couple plays but keep up the good work it been a long time I have Faith this will be the year
