Ryan Kerrigan Sacks High Utility Bills

Perhaps Redskins outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan decided he had seen enough Brian Orakpo Geico commercials and wanted to get into the advertising game himself.

Or maybe Kerrigan just really hates high utility bills.

Whatever the case may be, Kerrigan is the most recent Redskins player to star in his own TV commericial — this time for Thompson Creek Window Company.

This is the first big-time commercial opportunity for Kerrigan, who’s in his second year in the league. He can add the Thompson Creek Window Company commercial to his résumé that also includes a spot as Redskins blogger and sports anchor for CSN Washington.

Here’s Kerrigan’s new commercial with Thompson Creek. I wonder if all of his tackles make this sound?

I asked Orakpo today if he had seen Kerrigan’s new commercial, and he hadn’t. But he made sure to congratulate his fellow outside linebacker.

“Man, he’s been real quiet about it,” Orakpo said. “That’s good man. We’ve got the outside linebackers out there doin’ big things not only on the field, but off the field. That’s good to see.”
