‘Hey Hey Hey!…’ That’s Chris Baker!
Posted by on August 17, 2012 – 10:38 amPlease, Chris Baker, keep ‘em coming.
Though it’s always great to see childhood photos of the Washington Redskins players, I’d say there’s very few guys on the team who have a picture of them posing in “Fat Albert” pajamas.
But that’s exactly what Baker, the Redskins defensive lineman, posted last night.
For those of you who need a refresher, “Fat Albert” was a cartoon in the 1970s and 80s created by comedian Bill Cosby that chronicles the antics of main character, Albert, a plump but happy-go-lucky kid, and his friends.
The show was perhaps best known for Fat Albert’s catch phrase: “Hey hey hey!”
Anyway — and I mean this with all due respect — I didn’t realize how much Baker actually looks like the Fat Albert character until he tweeted this last night:
Phat Albert Hey Hey Hey my mom had me fooled I thought I was cool instagr.am/p/OaXRHwrHNs/—

I’m sure Baker’s mom had nothing but good intentions when this photo was taken.
Baker — who has since captured Redskins nation with his “Swaggy McSwag Swag” persona on the field — is no stranger to posting photos of himself on Twitter, by the way.
But back to “Fat Albert.” I’m sure this will be an awesome flashback for many readers (via RetroHeroes on YouTube):

Hey, Here’s a guy that, Boom, looks like Fat Albert. – Frank Caliendo as John Madden
The last Fat Albert (Haynesworthless) used to lie on the field and take naps between plays and left Washington with suitcases stuffed with cash.
Maybe this guy can resurrect the name Fat Albert into something good.
