Going into Thursday’s preseason opener against the Bills in Buffalo, I thought there probably wouldn’t be too much to do in the city other than stuff my face with delicious chicken wings.

Well, I’m ashamed to admit that did end up happening on two occasions (thanks to Duff’s Famous Wings and the Anchor Bar).

But one of the pleasant surprises of the trip was certainly getting the opportunity to tour the New Era Cap corporate headquarters, located in downtown Buffalo.

Chris ‘Swaggy’ Baker Having A Ball

If you were able to watch Thursday’s Washington-Buffalo preseason game in its entirety, one of the Redskins players who stood out in the second quarter and beyond was defensive lineman Chris Baker.

Baker made his presence known against the Bills, earning two tackles — one for a loss — and one quarterback hit. When he wasn’t making the play, he was often finding his way into the backfield and causing other teammates to make a play.

It was all in a day’s work for Baker, a happy-go-lucky nose tackle and defensive end who continues to have a strong preseason showing.

“I felt great,” Baker told reporters after the game. “I worked hard this offseason so, getting out there and playing as many plays as I played at end, at nose, nickel, I felt great.”
