Inside The Park: 1st Practice In The Books
Posted by on July 26, 2012 – 10:35 pmNote: Each day during the team’s training camp, Washington Redskins’ outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan will blog his insights about the team and his own life as he begins his second season in the NFL. To ask Ryan a question for the blog, you can leave a comment below, tweet your question to the Redskins’ account (@Redskins) with the hashtag #KerriganBlog, or leave a comment on the Redskins’ Facebook or Google+ pages.
What’s up ‘Skins fans?? I just got back to the hotel after the first real day of camp and man, am I beat! It was great to be back playing ball again, though. Practice went pretty well for the team overall but geez it was hot! I don’t think I’ve ever sweated more than I did today.
I kept thinking to myself about the scene from Anchorman when Ron Burgundy is walking around the city and yells, “It’s soooo HOT! Milk was a bad choice!”

Army Son’s Wish Granted By Redskins
Posted by on July 26, 2012 – 9:09 pmRobert Griffin III was in eighth grade when his father was deployed to serve his country in Iraq.
Griffin III did all he could to distract himself from thinking about the danger his father faced in the Middle East — digging deeper into an already-busy athletic lifestyle, playing video games or being with his friends and family — but nothing could completely keep the 13-year-old Griffin III’s father out of the back of his mind.
Quinten Shibusawa knows those feelings all too well.

Do The Redskins Have A New Fan?
Posted by on July 26, 2012 – 1:29 pmSure, it’s always funny to take photos of those sleeping nearby, but in doing so, Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love might’ve uncovered a budding Washington Redskins fan.
Love tweeted the photo above early this morning, meant more as a joke to his Team USA men’s basketball teammates.

10 For 80: Clinton Portis
Posted by on July 26, 2012 – 9:16 am
Note: The Redskins Blog will be profiling several former players, coaches and team officials eligible to be voted by you, the fans, in this year’s Redskins 80th Anniversary celebration. To vote for Clinton Portis or your 10 other all-timers to join the already-chosen list of the 70 Greatest Redskins, go to http://www.redskins80th.com/
If the only memories Clinton Portis left Redskins fans with had to do with his colorful character — which included his alter-egos like Sheriff Gonna Getcha, The Mad Scientist, Kid Bro Sweets, Dr. I Don’t Know and Southeast Jerome — then that alone would probably make him one of the most beloved team members of all time.
But the fact that Portis was an even better running back than he was an entertainer — ending his Redskins career as the second-leading rusher in franchise history — then his legacy as one of the all-time greats can certainly be considered sealed.
