Kerrigan Welcomes Griffin III To Team

From one first-round pick to another, Washington Redskins’ outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan took to the airwaves Wednesday to officially welcome rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III to the team.

Kerrigan — who was selected by the Redskins as the 16th overall selection in the 2011 NFL Draft — is on the set of Geico SportsNet Central today as the show’s guest anchor, alongside Chick Hernandez. He’ll go live at 6 p.m. today.

Kerrigan, however, already got his feet wet today in the TV industry with a Geico SportsNet Central Update, in which he announces the news of Griffin III’s signing with the Redskins earlier in the day.

Not bad for a first-timer. He might have a future in this.
