Bobby Mitchell Hosts His Final Tourney

Julianna is a leukemia survivor who is the featured “Tournament Patient Hero” in this weekend’s tournament, which has raised around $8 million in its 22 years.
Redskins’ Hall of Famer Bobby Mitchell this weekend is hosting his final Hall of Fame Golf Classic to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Mitchell — a Hall of Fame flanker and return man for the Redskins — has hosted the event since its inaugural event in 1990.

10 For 80: Bubba Tyer

He was just 11 years old when he was injured after his bicycle collided with a truck.
From that point on, Lamar “Bubba” Tyer was told he was never to play sports again.
Tyer’s misfortune, however, eventually turned into a treasure for the Washington Redskins: 38 years of dedicated service and medical assistance.

‘Skins Rank 24th In PFT Rankings
