But most of all, Redskins’ rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III and a slew of his receivers got some quality work in running through the team’s passing plays in Griffin III’s first-ever NFL Passing Camp at Baylor University in Waco.

More Preseason Love For Hankerson

Though the second-year Washington Redskins receiver caught just 13 passes for 163 yards last season in a rookie campaign ended prematurely by a hip injury, many experts look at a couple of factors favoring Hankerson in 2012: His football makeup (a 6-foot-2, 205-pound frame) and the fact that talented rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III is expected to immediately improve the Redskins’ passing attack.

Busy Independence Day For The Redskins

Several players took in some fireworks, grilled outside, watched their favorite movies and, of course, took time to thank those who have fought to keep our country independent.
