Google+ Hangout With Jarvis Jenkins
Posted by on June 8, 2012 – 1:38 pmFive lucky Redskins fans on Thursday evening were able to hang out with Redskins’ defensive end Jarvis Jenkins – via the internet.
Thursday’s Google+ Hangout With Jarvis Jenkins gave those fans an opportunity to talk with Jenkins via webcam, asking the second-year defensive end a variety of questions about his life in the NFL.
The five fans were selected by submitting comments on the Redskins’ Facebook and Google + pages explaining why they wanted to “hang out” with Jenkins. They could also tweet at Jenkins about the contest.
Here’s what Jenkins tweeted after the event:
Thanks to the 5 fans that participated in the #99hangout today! redsk.in/KMeL4q—

In the meantime, for more information about future hangouts, be sure to follow the Washington Redskins on Google + and add the Redskins to your circle to have a chance to ask your favorite player a question.
A special thanks to Jarvis for participating this time around. Which Redskins player would you like to see featured next?

“Thursday’s Google+ Hangout With Jarvis Jenkins gave those fans an opportunity to talk with Jenkins via Skype…”
That sentence doesn’t make sense. Google+ is NOT Skype.
