Doughty To Toss Pitch For Kidney Disease

Redskins’ safety Reed Doughty’s quest to educate others about kidney disease continues Friday, when he’s scheduled to throw out the first pitch at the Potomac Nationals’ game.

The Nationals are playing host to the Salem Red Sox at 6:05 p.m. Friday in a game supporting the National Kidney Foundation.

Live: Governor Talks Training Camp Move

Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell will conduct a press conference to discuss today’s announcement about the Washington Redskins relocating their summer training camp to Richmond, Va., effective in 2013.

The press conference is scheduled to begin at 1:20 p.m.

Training Camp Relocating To Richmond

Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that the Washington Redskins will relocate their summer training camp to within the City of Richmond, Va., effective in 2013.

The governor also announced that the team will retain and expand its headquarters and training facility in Ashburn, Va.

Cousins: ‘I’m Getting To Live My Dream’

Rookie quarterback Kirk Cousins was admittedly surprised upon learning the Washington Redskins were going to pick him up in the fourth round of April’s NFL Draft.

But it didn’t take long for the former Michigan State star to realize he had a chance to be a part of something special with the Redskins.
