In 2008, the New Orleans Saints finished 8-8 and last in the NFC South. The next season, however, the Saints earned five more wins in the regular season and won the Super Bowl.

2011 Season ‘Humbling’ for Darrion Scott

Darrion Scott had been a professional football player for five years prior to the 2011 season, but he said it wasn’t until late last year that he really learned how to be a pro.

Released by the Washington Redskins during Week 10, Scott, a defensive end, found himself without a team for the first time in his career.

The energy was never-ending Saturday as the Washington Redskins 80th Anniversary Thank You Tour continued its two-month-long trek with two stops at Virginia Beach, Va., and at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg va.

We got a behind-the-scenes look at the nine current and former Redskins — as well as the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders — who took part in the event.
