Redskins Players Enjoy Soccer Experience

A record crowd for a soccer match in the Nation’s Capital packed into FedExField Wednesday evening for the men’s soccer friendly between the U.S. and Brazil.
Among the announced crowd of 67,619 at the match were several Redskins players who went to Twitter to show their support for the U.S. team, which lost 4-1 to the extremely talented Brazil squad.
The pre-match star of the show was Redskins’ rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III, who was presented a U.S. Men’s National soccer jersey — appropriately clad with “Griffin III” and “10″ on the back” — chatted it up with U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann and stood on the sidelines during the match:
