Brian Banks To Get Tryout With Redskins
Posted by on May 31, 2012 – 4:15 pmWashington Redskins’ executive vice president and head coach Mike Shanahan on Thursday confirmed that the Redskins have offered Brian Banks — a former standout high school linebacker wrongfully convicted of rape and kidnapping after a 2002 incident — a tryout.
Shanahan said he recently called Banks, 26, to offer him the tryout after hearing about the ordeal.

Redskins Players Enjoy Soccer Experience
Posted by on May 31, 2012 – 10:06 amA record crowd for a soccer match in the Nation’s Capital packed into FedExField Wednesday evening for the men’s soccer friendly between the U.S. and Brazil.
Among the announced crowd of 67,619 at the match were several Redskins players who went to Twitter to show their support for the U.S. team, which lost 4-1 to the extremely talented Brazil squad.
