Show me the NFL “expert” that predicted this draft class for the Redskins.
Going into the weekend, most NFL minds predicted that the Redskins would upgrade the quarterback position with Robert Griffin III. No one could have estimated that the Redskins would totally remodel their quarterback position, by adding Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Cousin’s intrigue with the Redskins coaching staff was surely solidified with an outstanding performance against Shanahan’s South Team at the 2012 Senior Bowl. Cousin’s appeared polished, and made all the throws necessary to move up the draft board.
It will be interesting to see what head coach Mike Shanahan has to say about taking a second quarterback in lieu of addressing other obvious needs. It will also be interesting to see how recently selected quarterback RG3 responds to the addition of KC1.
