Josh Morgan And The Harlem Globetrotters

Thanks to the fine folks at San Francisco 49ers TV, we have old footage of new Redskins receiver Joshua Morgan playing basketball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

The drill is called “football,” so who better to participate than a football star who used to play basketball?

“I’m gonna bring back what I used to do back in the day,” he tells the reporter.  “Do a little somthing.”

A little something like this:

With his flashy dunk, we know that Morgan has a future in show biz.  But before he makes it to the big time, he needs to work on his comfort level in improv:

“I was a little confused at first, because they didn’t tell me what to do,” he said with a good-natured smile after the performance.  “It’s like running a play without any direction, not knowing the call.”

Now he knows how the Washington Generals feel.
