Good morning Redskins Nation, and welcome to one of the
biggest corporate holidays most romantic days of the year: Happy Valentine’s Day!
In a month tragically devoid of Redskins football, it’s a good opportunity to pay attention to the spouse that you neglected during football season–husband or wife. Even though Americans are expected to spend $17.6 billion this Feb. 14 ($126.03 per person), just remember that your time and effort are most important.
And shiny things that fit on fingers, wrists and necks never hurt.
Here are a few Valentine’s-themed tweets and love-life advice from Redskins players with the most “heart”:
Linebacker London Fletcher shares well wishes with his female fans:
Meanwhile, defensive end Stephen Bowen gives love to everyone:
Receiver Anthony Armstrong offers his services as a last-minute Cupid:
And defensive end Jarvis Jenkins gives a personal candy-gram to the love of his life:
But don’t worry single ladies, he’s looking out for you too:
Amen to that. Here’s wishing everyone lots of Redskins love in 2012, and a happy Valentine’s Day to everyone in Redskins Nation.
