Bellamy Hits Red Carpet At ‘BET Honors’
Posted by on January 18, 2012 – 10:47 amOver the weekend, Redskins defensive back and DMV native Travon Bellamy appeared on the red carpet at “The BET Honors” at the historic Warner Theater in Washington.
This was the fifth year for the event, which celebrates African American achievement, especially in the arts and entertainment industries. This year’s show highlighted the works of Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Maya Angelou, Spike Lee, Beverly Kearney and the Tuskegee Airmen.
Bellamy was one of myriad celebrities and athletes that descended on Washington, D.C., including former Redskins returner Brian Mitchell, Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe, and Bears defensive tackle Jordan Miller.
For his red carpet appearance, Bellamy rocked the blue-gray vest and matching pants, sporting his best Zoolander “Magnum” look. If a matching Burgundy vest and pants with a Gold handkerchief wasn’t an option, I’d say this is a pretty good look.
