Friday Redskins Practice Bubble Update
Posted by on January 13, 2012 – 10:52 am
Good morning Redskins Nation, and a very careful Friday the 13th to all. My informed superstitious advice is to steer clear of black cats today and wear your luckiest Redskins gear today in order to ward off evil spirits.
And if anyone dares to utter “Dallas Cowboys” on this unluckiest of days, sing “Hail to the Redskins” to protect yourself.
In other news, the Redskins practice bubble is finally percolating towards completion. All of the rain and nasty weather this fall made progress slow, but the foundation is in place, the doors are in place, and the bubble is in the not-too-distant future.
The 25-30 mph winds in Ashburn today look to be an inhibitor, but with the season over, crews can take their time.
Here’s Redskins Nation’s Larry Michael to outline the progress from yesterday:
And here are the latest images from just this morning. You can see the crews wrangling the tarps and bubble that cover the foundation at the moment:
There’s still a ways to go, but we’re slowly getting bubbly here at Redskins Park.

Thanks for the update. How about an update on the construction of the upper level party decks.

Just in time for Fred Davis and Trent Williams to practice for the playoffs.
