Rob Myers Hits The Slopes, Twitterverse

Posted by Brian Tinsman on January 9, 2012 – 4:47 pm

Up until Week 16, tight end Rob Myers didn’t exist on the Redskins roster.  Up until this weekend, he didn’t exist on Twitter.

Now both have come true.

Myers is the latest of the Redskins players to join Twitter (@RobMyersTE), a list that includes Graham Gano, Jabar Gaffney and Willie Smith.  Notable players missing on the trendy social network includes Sav Rocca, Roy Helu and Rex Grossman (hint, hint).

Friend and former Redskins lineman Eric Olsen welcomed him to his new social surroundings:

According to his tweets and corresponding twit pic, Myers has spent his first week of the offseason in Aspen, Colo. hitting the slopes.  Little did he know that if he stuck around Redskins Park for another week, he’d be walking in a Winter Wonderland in Ashburn.

Here’s the view out the back door of the facilities today:

Happy snow day tomorrow and safe travels, Redskins Nation!
