Santa Claus Is Coming To…FedExField
Posted by on November 22, 2011 – 6:58 pmJolly Ol’ St. Nick made his first appearance of the season at FedExField today, to participate in the “Harris Teeter-Redskins Harvest Feast” presented by Ryan Homes.
Kris Kringle revealed that not only is he a big Redskins fan, but he also used to be a Redskins season ticket holder. He would spend more time at his favorite football stadium, were it not for his regular 9-5 of delivering toys to every good little boy and girl in the world.
“When I’m not flying my reindeer, though,” he said, with a twinkle in his eye, “I drive a Burgundy and Gold van around with Redskins decals on the side.”
He stood out on the concourse, greeting everyone as they picked up their meals and gifts. He also met with Redskins players Niles Paul, Doug Worthington and Brandyn Thompson, each of whom assured him that they had been good.
According to Santa, however, public relations intern Hank has been on the Naughty List since the age of 9. Jason from community relations is on the Nice List, but needs to clean his room more often.
Go figure.
Christmas is right around the corner, Redskins Nation!
