Redskins Family Grows And Strengthens

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall was excused from practice this morning to be there for the birth of his twins.  Head coach Mike Shanahan confirmed that they were officially born at 11:15 this morning: 6 pounds, 8 ounces, and 6 pounds 1 ounce.

Together, they weigh slightly more than I did at birth.

Imagine if they had been born four minutes earlier–they would be the luckiest twins ever.  I’m guessing that Hall spent his 11/11/11, 11:11 a.m. wish on their good health.

Congratulations to DeAngelo and his two new editions!

In other news, Redskins kicker Graham Gano made his first tweet on his new Twitter handle (@grahamgano), complimenting his wife’s chicken pot pie:

No confirmation on dessert–Gano may or may not #lovewhenhiswifebakes.

Congrats to the new dad, and I hope Mrs. Gano makes whatever she fed Graham last weekend again this weekend.
