No matter how much you choose to believe or not believe in magic, everyone, at some point, has made a wish at exactly 11:11. It’s a palindrome, it’s in the only time on the clock or the calendar that has all repeating numerals, and it’s the first two-digit prime number.
But according to numerology, No. 11 is also a “masterful number.” The following text is a quoted description for someone that has the No. 11 prominently featured in his life path and destiny:
You have the potential to be a source of inspiration and illumination for people. You possess an inordinate amount of energy and intuition…Many inventors, artists, religious leaders, prophets, and leading figures in history have had the 11 prominent in their chart.
Good to know. But how does this apply to the Redskins’ own No. 11, practice squad receiver/returner Aldrick Robinson? Perhaps this explanation will be of some use:
Because you are so highly charged, you experience the consequences of a two-edged sword. You possess great abilities, but indulge in much self-reflection and self- criticism…You are blessed with a message, or a specific role to play in life.
For example, as a kick returner. During the preseason, Robinson was given an opportunity to shine at returner, but muffed two punts in his debut at the Indianapolis game. But in conversations since then, he said that special teams coordinator Danny Smith has worked with him specifically to help him hone his craft–his specific role.
But you must develop yourself sufficiently to take full advantage of that opportunity. Until that time, your inner development takes precedence over your ability to materialize the great undertaking you were chosen to perform. Consequently, 11s seem to develop slowly, but they simply have more to accomplish in their evolution than the average person.
So everyone that was worried about Robinson developing from the Run ‘n Shoot offense at SMU, into a traditional pro offense, need not worry. His excellence merely causes him to need a little bit longer than the average person to develop.
I caught up with No. 11, on today, 11/11/11, at around 1:11, to discuss his day of practice, which took place sometime around 11:11. By his recollection, his performance today was…rather masterful.
“Yeah, as I remember, at 11:11, I caught an 11-yard touchdown in the red zone,” he said. “I actually caught 11 balls today. I’m surrounded by 11’s today. I feel lucky, man. I woke up feeling very masterful today, and I still do. Everything I do today is gonna be 11-related, in the fashion of No. 11. I’m gonna tweet 11 times, I’m gonna re-tweet 11 people…I might follow 11 new people, I dunno though.”
At the time of this post, Robinson had only tweeted four of his allotted 11 times, with none being more profound than this:
S/O to all the Veterans even tho they ain't got no twitter page—

As far as his future development as a No. 11? All signs are pointing to a good outcome for him:
You are a fine companion and possess a good sense of humor. When you have found your niche in life and begun to realize your true potential, your rewards will more than compensate for your trials earlier in life.
Although this is easily the luckiest day of Robinson’s life, don’t be surprised to see it pay off further down the road.
