Seeking ‘Hightower’s Hometown Heroes’
Posted by on October 31, 2011 – 5:49 pmInjured running back Tim Hightower isn’t letting his involvement with the team and the community slip, just because he’s been put on IR. Tomorrow, on crutches, he will fulfill his commitment to a local school for an NFL Play 60 event. He continues to be a familiar face around the facilities, and sits in on film sessions with his teammates.
On top of that, he has recently unveiled his “Hightower’s Hometown Heroes,” an initiative that salutes young football players in the community, that are likewise involved in the community:
