Fred Davis: I’d Trade Pro Bowl For Playoffs
Posted by on October 27, 2011 – 2:57 pm…but since you bring it up, Fred Davis wouldn’t mind going to the Pro Bowl either.
Davis is currently the Redskins leading receiver in 2011, hauling in 28 catches for 423 yards. He’s proven to be a reliable target up and down the field, leading the squad with two touchdowns in the red zone.
Davis is currently on track for a career year, needing only 86 yards and four touchdowns to match career highs. He is one of the many Redskins featured on the 2012 Pro Bowl Ballot (blatant hint: vote now), and pitched his case, through a stream of consciousness on Twitter, today:
EverybOdy lookout for me with that pro bowl vote made ballot ! Need everyones help lol I'm gonna do my Part by balling On the field lol—

So just because I ask for your support doesn't mean I'm not worried bout winning—

Second if I'm in pro bowl must mean my stats are high and I'm playing good think about it ,—
Fred Davis (@freddavis83) October 27, 2011
Trust me I'm frustrated to I hate losing—
Fred Davis (@freddavis83) October 27, 2011
At end of day I'll take a 1 playoff game before any pro bowl—
Fred Davis (@freddavis83) October 27, 2011
I want to be a world champion !!!!—
Fred Davis (@freddavis83) October 27, 2011
I appreciate that. The reason why I always want to be skin fans are real. Keep believing it's still early this season can turn around—

Legggggoooooo !!!!—

From his last tweet, it appears that Davis is ready to work hard and produce.
Or, he really likes Legos.
Davis is a great player, looking to prove that he can be a top-notch tight end in Washington. If he can keep his production going like this over the course of a season, then he’ll be a lot closer to seeing Honolulu and Indianapolis at the end of it.

yo freddy d you my homeboy man and i love the energy you bring to the field and i hate to be the guy who farted in the broken elevator but the last time i checked tony gonzales and antonio gates and jason witten never made it to the probowl by tweeting bro, u need to get back out there on the field and shake the hell out of them linebackers and safties and help beck put some points on the score board, and work on your endzone dances homie you been in DC long enough to understand that we got better dances to do than just a butterfly or the tootsie roll man i mean C’MON MAN ..i mean u are about what….6’3″-6’4″ try this the next time you score dunk the ball through the field goal post but use two hands like a monster jam and see how the crowd reacts to it…..p.s stop jumping after u catch the ball homie u might end up on the wrong side of a small db trying to tackle u low end up with a gus ferrotte(for those who dont know thats a jammed neck)
