Vick Apologizes To Redskins Cheerleaders
Posted by on October 17, 2011 – 2:55 pmIn one of the stranger moments of yesterday’s game, Eagles quarterback Michael Vick went from being a quarterback/running back, to kickoff specialist.
Unfortunately, the Redskins returner was wearing makeup and carrying pink pom-poms:
No question that the man is outlaw at FedExField, but kudos to him for apologizing profusely to the ladies on the field.
Vick also ended his post-game press conference with another shout-out to the first ladies of Redskins Nation:
Kicking random sideline objects as you run out of bounds seems like a pretty dumb display of emotion, but credit Vick for taking responsibility and apologizing, again.
Spirit fingers, all around.
Now you may all return to muttering about him under your breath.

He didn’t throw the football as he ran out of bounds, he’s holding it the whole time.

@Captain Chaos-Obvious-
That’s what I said too, but we had a PR guy on the sidelines. The camera cuts away from the aerial angle midway through, and apparently Vick gets a good bounce back to him. He threw the ball.

CORRECTION: Should have trusted my gut, he did kick it.

Much ado about nothing much. The focus should be on the fact that there was virtually no game plan in place to account for Vick’s broken plays, the same kind of plays he killed us with last season in the 59-28 mugging on the same field.
Instead of focusing on Vick losing his head for a brief instant and kicking a wayward football, how about we all realize that the Redskins are in deep trouble with no QB, RB by committee and a coaching staff that does very little from week-to-week to account for the next opponent’s strengths???

or how about the fact that beck played good? seriously carl, you mustve not watched the game. i saw alot of dropped passes when beck threw the ball, i blame the recievers and rex grossman for this loss. pretty much, beck played like someone who deserves a starting job. what amazes me most, is that out of all of grossmans interceptions, they were ALL his fault. so shove it
