Landry Ranks Among NFL’s Meanest
Posted by on October 13, 2011 – 4:43 pmA recent poll of 287 NFL players by SI.com revealed the top 15 Meanest Players in the NFL. Unsurprisingly, LaRon Landry, the Redskins enforcer in the secondary, got some appreciation at No. 9 on the list.
Last year, before being injured, Landry racked up a team-leading 101 tackles in only nine games, including a sack and six tackles for a loss. This season, in only two games, Landry has already wreaked havoc, with 14 tackles and a forced fumble.
Just ask Cowboys receiver Laurent Robinson how mean Landry can be:
He trails only eight players for a mean-streak in the NFL:
1. James Harrison, PIT, LB
2. Ray Lewis, BAL, LB
3. Ndamukong Suh, DET, LB
4. Richard Seymour, OAK, DL
5. Richie Incognito, MIA, OL
6. Terrell Suggs, BAL, LB
7. Harvey Dahl, STL, OL
8. Hines Ward, PIT, WR.
Do you think this is a placement for Landry on the list?

That ranks among good company although I wouldve put him above Hines Ward he’ll be #1 soon HTTR!

I think he belongs at #7 on that particular list. If Landry was to partake in a fight to the death with Hines Ward, he would snap Hine’s neck.

He should be #4 behind Suh, Lewis and Harrison because he’s more indimidating and hits harder than Richard Seymour
