Kerrigan and Hall Work Out With Play 60
Posted by on September 24, 2011 – 10:00 amThis happened on Tuesday, but due to technical difficulties, the video was available until today.
Fortunately it’s still worth a watch.
Earlier this week, Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall and outside linebacker Ryan Kerrigan kicked off the Play60 Challenge at Albert Hill Middle School in Richmond, Va.
Two interesting notes in the video of the event, is that the kids at that middle school are fast, because they’re hanging right with Hall on the gym sprints. Secondly, Kerrigan talks footwork and fitness with the students, and he’s got superlatives for his fitness. I’ve heard the strength and conditioning staff call him one of the strongest, hardest-working gym rats on the team right now, and it’s shown on the football field.
This had to have been an amazing day for the kids at that middle school, and a great initiative with NFL Play 60 and GlaxoSmithKline:

Way to go Ryan, I’m sure the kids enjoyed it as much as you did! You are a GREAT role model!
