Every week, linebacker Lorenzo Alexander does a live Q&A video chat on his Sportsbuzz website.  With the Cowboys next up on the Redskins schedule, Alexander focused in on Dallas Week discussions.

One of the hot topics leading into this game, is the health of the Cowboys offensive playmakers.  Probable, questionable or doubtful though, Alexander said it doesn’t matter in a rivalry game.

“I don’t really care who they suit up,” he told his viewers.  “I know they have a lot of injuries, but it’s the NFL you are going to have injuries week in and week out. Hopefully all those guys can play so we can go out there and compete against their best.”

Alexander doesn’t want to be leave room for excuses after the fact.

Not much needs to be said to stir up this rivalry, so he stayed away from offering any bulletin board materials.  He simply broke down what he’s looking for from the Cowboys offense:

“We definitely wanna shut down the running game first, then get after Tony Romo,” he explained. “We can’t let a guy like Dez Bryant get started, whether its in the return game or as a receiver.  He is nasty, y’know: big, strong, fast, has an attitude.  Those are the type of guys you really gotta key on and not let beat you.”

Look for Alexander’s play to do the ‘smack’ talking on Monday night.
