Notes From Wednesday’s Practice
Posted by on September 14, 2011 – 2:32 pmNow that tight end Chris Cooley can participate in practice again, he has initiated “Tight End Tights Day.” It’s a very literal title, and involved Logan Paulen, Fred Davis and Cooley wearing burgundy tights:
Cooley made the announcement, and it was unclear if it will be a weekly tradition, but I will keep you posted.
John Beck got some opportunities during quarterback drills to show off his arm, and showed his ability to slam dunk through the goalposts as he walked over to stretch.
He hasn’t lost his fire, holding the clipboard.
As always, one of the most compelling coach-to-players exchange was from defensive line coach Jacob Burney to his unit. Despite playing pretty well against a physical line on Sunday, Burney was working his guys hard and critiquing their footwork and hand placement:
