Young Redskins Pledge To Step Their Game Up

The life of an NFL rookie is never easy, and the odds of becoming a starter–much less a star in the league–are usually slim.  But for the 10 rookies and first-year players that made the cuts for the final 53-man-roster, ‘Day One of the NFL Life’ starts tomorrow.

A few young players tweeted their excitement after learning that they had secured a roster spot.

Some made varying pledges of hard work:

The dog days of training camp are behind us, but the grind of the regular season has arrived.  The hunger that got these players to the final 53 will need to be elevated if this team is going to reach its goals in 2011.
