Pregame Warm-up at FedExField

Posted by Brian Tinsman on September 1, 2011 – 5:42 pm

Gameday is here.

Strength and conditioning coach Ray Wright has already run his stadium steps (he does this every week in every city), Redskins cheerleaders have practiced, and some Redskins players have taken the field to warm up in T-shirts and shorts.

Here’s a look at the cheerleaders, sporting Burgundy outfits and yellow and white pom-poms:

No roster cuts expected for this squad.  Stay tuned.

FedExField has also unveiled a new NRG kiosk outside of the stadium for charging cars:

Perhaps the greatest scene of pregame warm-up was watching the Redskins new backup kicker at work.  This one doesn’t sell real estate, but he can still split the uprights from 40 yards.

Ladies and gentlemen, Renaissance Man, Tim Hightower, who booted it through with at least 10 yards to spare.
