Most Valuable Redskin
Posted by on September 1, 2011 – 10:33 pmThe people have spoken: the offensive position in most need of clarity was quarterback. Congratulations to those of you that selected other positions, but you were vastly outnumbered.
The defensive position in most need of clarity was cornerback by a slim margin. Josh Wilson had a good night and is probably a favorite to start alongside DeAngelo Hall against the Giants. The rest of the depth chart has yet to shake out.
Who was your top player tonight?

That secondary is HORRID!!! This was the second week in a row we got torched by a third-string QB operating behind a backup offensive line. For every INT, there are 7-8 missed break-ups.
Boom or bust at the CB position isn’t gonna cut in in the NFC East.

Has to be Rob Jackson

If you watch the replay on Banks’ TD-return, you can see a block in the back that wasn’t called, or at least, it looks like one.. to Banks’ right, you can see a Buc go flying to the ground, and a Skins’ outstretched arms behind him.

@Trent-
I see what you saw, but it’s not what it looks like. Safety Chris Horton is driving his man downfield, and when he goes to make a dive at Banks, he flat-out trucks him. It was a textbook block and totally legal. Not to worry. I’ll post a video later

i would definitely say that brandon banks gets the game ball after that one…but did anyone see how good Mike Sellers played at fullback? He was GREAT!! I hope the Shanahans see how well he played at FB and keep him there…we have enough depth at TE
