The Redskins vs. Rush-Hour Traffic
Posted by on August 31, 2011 – 7:05 pmGuess what happens when 80 Redskins players run into rush-hour traffic on the way to the team hotel?
They sit there and wait, with thousands of fellow DMV’ers.
As per usual before any game, the team departed the facilities (Point A) for the hotel, around mid-afternoon. Unfortunately, thanks to traffic, the buses were delayed in reaching point B.
Here are a few of the frustrated tweets orbiting around in Redskins Twitterverse:
This traffic is ridiculous—

For those of you keeping score at home, they did reach their destination, about 15 minutes later:
Finally made it to the hotel.—

I love how we can send humans to a lab in space, yet we can’t solve a problem as simple as traffic congestion.
