Anthony Armstrong Segways Nicely Between Work and Play
Posted by on August 7, 2011 – 5:51 pmOne of the most exciting and consistent players in camp so far this year has been wide receiver Anthony Armstrong. He is still getting in tune with the quarterbacks, but has made some outstanding catches downfield against the best that the defense has to offer.
And he’s staying loose out there too.
One of the funniest scenes from Fan Appreciation Day, yesterday, was seeing Armstrong take a break from entertaining fans with his play, to entertain them with his antics on a Redskins Segway.
As he said later on Twitter:

Upgrade at the WR position. with the return of Moss and Armstrong to the system, add a vet like Gaffney(not a fan of Gator players, see every piece of …. that spurrier punished us with). Armstrong will be critical to success-YAC) tough comp at the WR position. GO BECK

I saw Armstrong at camp last year. He seemed like a nice guy. One of the only ones to say anything to the crowd as they left the field.
