Landry and Moore Looking Better

Posted by Brian Tinsman on July 30, 2011 – 11:48 am

Two of the three players currently listed on the Physically Unable to Perform list were out on the field today working on agility drills.  Landry is still recovering from the Achilles injury that ended his season in 2010, while Moore is recovering from offseason knee surgery.  They have not yet been cleared to play, but both are looking agile on footwork drills:

I hope that Landry can keep up his pro bowl play. He was unstoppable last year.

I’m sorry but Kareem Moore was pretty bad last year. Hence the Atogwe (Hope I got that right) signing. I don’t know what it was but everytime I remember a Kareem Moore play it would be him missing a tackle. I guess he did recover a fumble against Green Bay but that was probably his only highlight of the 2010 season. Lots of low-lights though.

It’s necessary to have competition. We don’t want any of these guys feeling like they will be given a job. Injuries happen. Kareem, with another year under his belt might end up being an asset this year. At the very least, his presence should continue to push Landry, Atogwe, Horton and Russell. Remember there’s no Reed Doughty so far this year.
