End Of Day One
Posted by on July 29, 2011 – 11:01 pmWhat a day! I’ve prepared an ice bath for my fingers after a long day of typing and I’ll be available for a media session soon.
In real news, players have a good feeling about how today went, and they should. Head coach Mike Shanahan said in his evening news conference that five players needed to see the trainer after practice, and that was just IV’s for dehydration.
In addition to the work on the field, Shanahan also anticipated filling up his allotted 23 roster spots in the next couple days, so stay tuned for team announcements.
Here are the players in their own typed words:
It was a good 1st day. Not done but got a little down time.—

And Keiland Williams, who did have a good day out on the field:

Any news on what days are open to fan visits? I made it out to one last year and had a good time. I’d like to go again. Also, how many hours are you putting in? Have you been going since 6am? Long day.

This blog is pretty fantastic on my iPad! I’ve been really impressed with the implementation of all the new graphics, etc. Sometimes the video doesnt play, but otherwise it’s pretty solid. Keep up the great work!

In the article “Redskins Debut Free Agents….” I get nothing for the video of Cofield and Bowen going over their play books. Thanks for looking into it.
