Donovan McNabb Promises A ‘Special’ 2011 Season To Someone

Posted by Matt Terl on June 21, 2011 – 9:27 am

While Redskins fans have found themselves debating Rex Grossman (who is not technically on the roster) vs. John Beck (who hasn’t taken a regular season snap in three years), Donovan McNabb has largely been the forgotten man, and he’s seemed content to remain that way.

I’m not sure why McNabb chose The Real Robinson Report — a YouTube project from Seattle Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson — as an outlet for these thoughts, and I’m not quite sure what to read into their content, either. So here it is without further comment from me. Transcript after the jump.

McNabb: “For my Facetime: 2011 is different than 2010. For those who wanna sit back and dwell on what happened last year, so be it. But 2011’s gonna be a special season. A season in which I feel that I’ve prepared myself well — not just conditioning and strengthwise, but most importantly getting back to the fundamentals. And I look to display that in the 2011 season. And for those who feel like it can’t be possible: I’ll prove you wrong.”
