Charles Mann On MC Hammer And The Falcons

A few weeks ago (and for no real reason), I found myself writing about the January 1992 playoff game between the Redskins and the Falcons and focusing on the fact that the Falcons had rapper MC Hammer on their sidelines. The post ended with screencaps of several victorious Redskins defensemen mocking Hammer’s single (and unofficial Falcons theme song) ’2 Legit 2 Quit’. One of those defensemen was Charles Mann, so — when Mann was at Redskins Park mentoring students with Merrill Lynch the other day — I asked what he remembered about MC Hammer and the Atlanta Falcons.
