Will Montgomery, Hall Of Famer
Posted by on March 7, 2011 – 12:32 pmWhen you think of Hall Of Fame Redskins, Will Montgomery probably isn’t the first name to leap to mind. The versatile offensive lineman is still playing, for one thing. And — although he did start the final five games of the 2010 season — his name hasn’t really been mentioned in Hall Of Fame consideration just yet.
On the pro level, at least. But this past Sunday, Montgomery actually was named to one Hall Of Fame: the Fairfax County (Virginia) Football Hall Of Fame. And, really, It’s an undeniable honor to be recognized; Montgomery joins Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, Broncos receiver Eddie Royal, and plenty of other familiar names.
To celebrate the occasion, here’s the 2010 highlight video Redskins.com TV put together to be played at the ceremony. (Yes, this is a Will Montgomery highlight reel, and, yes, it’s soundtracked with Enter Sandman in celebration of Montgomery’s college days at Virginia Tech.) Enjoy, and congratulations to Will Montgomery.

Great job to Will! I am so much inspired by his achievement since I am also dreaming to be achieving something that would step me up to the Hall of Fame.
