Crowdsourcing Mike Shanahan’s Indianapolis Presser
Posted by on February 25, 2011 – 5:20 pmAfter a full day of transcribing Larry Michael’s interview with Mike Shanahan, there are few things on Earth I feel like doing LESS than I feel like transcribing Mike Shanahan’s press conference in Indianapolis. Which is fortunate, because I’m not in Indianapolis to see the presser, and I don’t yet have audio or video of it to transcribe. The good news — for me AND for those of you who are interested in the gist of what Shanahan said — is, of course,Twitter, which allows us to get instant feedback from the people who ARE there. Like this picture, for example, from Official Combine Correspondent Jordan Beane:

Or these summaries and quotes from the intrepid travelling Redskins Beat Corps (and Their Backing Band Of NFL Writers): On the ongoing dramas, much of which we’ve already covered via the Larry Michael interview:

And, just to close out with, this Twitpicfrom Hogs Haven:

I expect to have the video to post soon, but I think that hits enough of the high notes to tide everyone over for now. Thanks to the entire beat corps and news community for contributing to this crowdsourcing; you can (and should) follow all of them by clicking on their Twitter handles in the posted tweets above.
