Bruce Allen Goes To Richmond, And Other Links

Still stuck at home with a sick kid, so here’s a roundup of some Redskins-related links as we head into the weekend.

  • General manager Bruce Allen will be speaking at the University of Richmond — his alma mater — this evening as a featured speaker at the “Spiders in Sports and Sports Management Networking “reception. “I owe a lot to the University of Richmond, and whatever I can do in a small way to help them, I’m more than willing to do,” said Allen, according to a story from Roanoake’s WSLS10.

Some Offseason Training With Hail!

I have no idea whether or not Lorenzo Alexander is doing mixed martial arts training this offseason, as as writer/artist Ben Ceccarelli suggests in this week’s Hail! comic. But I know Santana Moss (among other guys) has done it, and Alexander is good at everything else in the universe, so it sounds feasible to me.
