Redskins Explain How To Discuss Your Teammate's Ongoing Drama

Posted by Matt Terl on December 10, 2010 – 2:50 pm

One of the interesting subplots of the Albert Haynesworth saga was watching how different players addressed the topic with the media.

The players are put into an awkward position when it comes to something like this: if they don’t talk, the media gets annoyed with them. If they talk but offer nothing but platitudes, everyone rolls their eyes and keeps asking the same questions until they say something interesting. Washington Redskins Courage House At Youth For Tomorrow

Yesterday marked the dedication of the Washington Redskins Courage House at the Bristow, Virginia, campus of Joe Gibbs’ Youth For Tomorrow.

I’m terrified that the Haynesworth drama is unkillable and that we’re just at the part where its eyes suddenly open, violins start shrieking on the soundtrack, and we’ve got another pointless ten-minute chase scene to get through before the credits actually roll.

But Hail! writer/artist Ben Ceccarelli doesn’t share my fears, and uses this week’s strip to say goodbye to that neverending story in his own unique way. As always, click the first panel or the Read More link to see the rest of the strip.
