Two big announcements today regarding 2011 Redskins tickets:
- 1) General admission ticket prices will remain the same for the 2011 season; the team has maintained general admission ticket prices since the 2006 season.
- 2) The team will offer a full refund policy any 2011 games — preseason and regular season — that are cancelled due to a work stoppage of any sort. In a move that extends beyond the policy the NFL announced yesterday, the Redskins will apply this policy to all seats, including GA, Premium Club, and Suites. The refunds will be offered in two ways: either in the same form as payment rendered (credit card or check as appropriate) or in credit toward future games, whichever the season ticket holder prefers.
“We remain hopeful that an agreement can be successfully negotiated between the League and the Players Association,” Redskins owner Daniel M. Snyder said in a statement. “If that does not occur, all Washington Redskins season ticket holders will be offered full refunds for any games that are missed.”
