The Devin Thomas-Fantasia Thing Continues

The latest entry in today’s unplanned theme day of Embedded Video Thursday is the latest update in the ongoing saga of Devin Thomas appearing in a Fantasia video. On last night’s 106 & Park on BET, Fantasia appeared to promote her new video — the one in which Thomas is a co-star — and host Terrence J had a surprise for her. (Fast forward to the 3:00 minute mark.)

Mike Shanahan Guarantees A Super Bowl Win

Dan Hellie of NBC-4 talked to Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, and Shanahan described how his father, head coach Mike Shanahan, had guaranteed a Super Bowl win. Seriously. DirecTV With An Interesting Spin On The Redskins-Cowboys Rivalry

I’m … honestly not sure quite what to make of this DirecTV ad. Why are they in a stable? Is that Abe Vigoda? If the ad is all about the Redskins and Cowboys, why are the highlights of the Redskins against the Bucs? Still: I can’t imagine Dallas fans will like it too much, and that’s always a good thing.

Says the very wise emailer who sent the link to the video pointed out, the Cowboy dog using the Redskins fan’s den as a fire hydrant really is just about what you’d expect from a Cowboy fan dog. Read more »

Donovan McNabb Was On SportsCenter

This aired yesterday and has made its way around the internet already, but what the heck. Here’s Redskins QB Donovan McNabb being interviewed by ESPN’s Adam Schefter. It’s an interview that largely covers familiar ground, but if you need a primer on McNabb’s feelings about Philly (still warm and fuzzy), Andy Reid (friendly), and why things happen (“for a reason,” of course) … well, here it is.
