Intern Lindsey — who is tweeting about her Redskins internship as @redskinsintern — was running around with a Flip camera at yesterday’s Alumni Day practice. Here, then, are a series of very short clips to give at least a sense of what this crazy event was like.
For example, here’s Redskins defensive greats Pat Fischer and Ken Harvey, which conveys at least a little of Fischer’s manic energy. (I wouldn’t be even a little surprised if the two seconds after this clip ends really did feature a brief skirmish between the two.)
Several players told me that they were shocked that Art Monk made it to the event, and even more shocked by how much he talked to the media. Here’s video proof that it happened.
Clint Didier jokes about tracking down Bruce Allen to reinstate the old Five O’Clock Club:
George Starke talks about the importance of the Redskins family.
And a whole group of Alumni, including Bobby Mitchell, make some early predictions about the 2010 Redskins while Bobby Beathard tries to limber up his old team-building skill.
