Tim Tebow took first overall, but Donovan McNabb‘s new burgundy and gold threads were the number two seller at NFL.com for the month of April. I wonder if it’s stopped looking weird yet to the people who bought it. I’m hoping this weekend’s mini-camp does the trick for me. Read more »

Mike Sellers On Veterans And Rookies With Mini-Camp Looming

When Mike Sellers was talking to the students at Monday’s ATLAS and ATHENA training session, he addressed a couple of issues that seemed like a nice segue into this weekend’s upcoming mini-camp. One dealt with what mini-camp could mean for veterans; the other what it means for rookies.
1) Mini-Camp For Vets: A Case Study On Donovan McNabb’s First Days As A Redskin
The question that prompted this was if Sellers was happy about the acquisition of Donovan McNabb, and he started his answer a bit circuitously. “Jason Campbell’s my neighbor,” Sellers said, “so I kinda didn’t know how to feel. ‘Cause, you know, that’s one of my great friends.
“But Donovan came in, he’s a leader. And that’s one thing, the minute he walked in the locker room, he commanded, ‘Y’all listen to what I’ve gotta say.’ He’s a proven player. You can’t do anything BUT be happy about that.
