Ma'ake Keomeatu Has An Enormous Skull

New Redskins nose tackle Ma’ake Kemoeatu has a big noggin. That’s the summary here. The difficulty has been in coming up with ways to demonstrate this fact. For example, the guys in the equipment room say that he wears far and away the biggest helmet they’ve ever seen in all their combined years in the NFL — but whenever I tried to get a picture of it, it just looked like a helmet that was slightly bigger than the already-large helmet next to it.

Enter Mike Sellers.

Sellers — who has a fairly substantial cranium himself — came out of the locker room today brandishing Kemoeatu’s helmet.

Then Sellers put the helmet on, found that it totally swallowed his head, and that he could swivel it almost a full 360 degrees without removing it.

So whatever else Kemo can or can’t do, he’s got this going for him, at least: he’s got one heck of a dome.
