Stump Mitchell: Wired Up
Posted by Matt Terl on January 12, 2010 – 5:26 pmIn honor of Stump Mitchell’s departure, here’s his Wired Up feature from back in minicamp courtesy of the fine folks at the Redskins Broadcast Network. Mitchell was a pretty intense coach, not a guy who seemed overly concerned with his public persona, but this shows a lighter-hearted side of him. He jokes with Mike Sellers, because everyone jokes with Mike Sellers; he tried to teach Anthony Alridge how to not fumble, because that’s what Anthony Alridge needed; and he tries to encourage Domonique Dorsey to field punts with a football tucked under each arm. All told, it’s a solid way to spend three minutes.
